Special Vehicles - What is it?
Special vehicles are vehicles designed and built to perform specific functions that cannot be effectively performed by standard vehicles. This includes emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, agricultural vehicles, military vehicles, and many others. In simple terms, special vehicles are those that do not fit into the standard categories of passenger cars, vans, or trucks. These are vehicles designed to perform specific, often very specific tasks.

Is there an obligation to monitor the GPS location of special vehicles?
In Poland, there is no clear legal obligation to monitor all special vehicles. However, many industries decide to do so due to safety, operational efficiency and compliance with various regulations. An example is the transport of hazardous materials, where, in addition to GPS monitoring, reporting of the transport of goods in the SENT system is required. In such a case, it is best to configure the Fleet Manager service with the SENT-GEO function, which will allow data to be sent to the SENT program directly through our application.
